You know, it's no it's it's two a Tuesday, and it's no secret that I think everybody out there should know how to shoot. And there's a variety of different things out there to help you do that. Now and with some of the things you've heard about here, these are sort of more of a more of a specialist specialty discipline. But this next thing, this is just plain Jane. You you you could go down to Dewey's and buy everything you need to compete with this. And joining us now is, Martha Goodfellow. She's here to talk to us about the Glock match. Now is this a first of all, thanks for joining me today. Thank you, Bill. I appreciate the opportunity to talk about the Glock match and let people know what's happening. Now is this a Glock Shooting Sports Federation, event? Actually, it is the annual Glock Sports Shooting Match held at Belt and Gun Club. Okay. And they they hold about 60 or 66 around the nation. Right. So what what what is the criteria to be able to shoot in there? I mean, is there different classes for the calibers? Is there different classes for the size of guns? How does this break down? Because this would be the one I would compete in, but I've got just about all the sizes. There are multiple different types of Glocks as we all know. So it just depends on what somebody already has. Right. I like the Glock nineteen. That's my favorite. My husband likes the Glock forty five. So there's just if it's a Glock pistol, there's a division you can shoot it in. Right. So with the 19 and the 45 being the same division since they're roughly about the same gun except for grip That's correct. Yeah. That's correct. The, full sized pistols, like your nineteen and forty five, the 17, full sized ones competed against each other. Your pocket blocks, like the forty two and forty three, would compete in a compact division. Right. And they have a rimfire which is the 22 ammo and that's strictly a rimfire division. So, how is Glock as big a gun in competitive world as it is in self defense world and law enforcement world? Glock is known to be very dependable, reliable, and for self defense, you want it for that. As far as competing, there are so many different types of guns you can get to compete with. I wouldn't even venture to guess whose favorites. I'm a Glock owner and I really like what I have. Right. I I like that their trigger is what the safety is built. I mean, I don't have to worry about releasing a safety trigger, a safety release. Yeah. So that's my personal preference. See. Now here here's a question for you. I've got three Glocks right now with Terran Tactical Innovations. And when they come back, they're not exactly gonna be Glocks. Is there a class for that? Okay. It has to be a stock Glock. Oh, okay. You're talking about a gun that has all their types of parts in it. They, depending on what you've added to it, you might be able to enter it in the unlimited. That's something so technically, you'd have to look it up in the rules or ask the Glock people. The only thing two of them have Timney triggers and that other than that, it's just been some, you know, it'll be some grip work, it'll be some, they'll lighten the slide a little bit and possibly use a different Glock spring in it, but most of the parts going into it are Glock except for the finish. Right. You know, again, that would be something I would direct to the Glock people. I'm I know there's certain things like you can add different sites. I like I added a fiber optic on one one of mine to try it out. I've used the standard iron sites that come on it. If you put something like an MOS on it, that puts And then on your magazines, they allow you to add, like, a pure script that has the pinky extension. Yeah. Yeah. Right. So that, you know, when you're shooting seven rounds and your magazine only holds six, you can get the seventh round for your compact pistols. Yep. Yep. Yep. I don't believe that. But there's one thing that all of the pot stirrers like French, David French at the New York Times and MAGA Americans, they might agree on. Deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller is, making himself a very important voice of the Trump administration and he's a mainstream media nemesis. But see, it's not what he has done in his White House role that might rock the three branches of the United States government as we know them. It's not the verbal jujitsu that he employs and throws people all over the room with. You know, that might produce a kind of explosive reverberation that could have the potential of igniting the kind of inter branch constitutional crisis rarely seen since the one that eventually sparked that fateful shot on Fort Sumter. There's something called American First Legal, the nonprofit Publix Law Foundation co founded by Stephen Miller in 2021 with a mission of turning the legal tables on the radical activist left. And it wants to wage a forceful defense of our rights, our country, and our cherished American way of life and has just filled a bombshell lawsuit against chief justice John g Roberts junior. In his capacity as presiding officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States and Robert j Conrad, director of administrative of the Administrative Office of the US Courts. AFL wants the information from the Judicial Conference and the US Courts Administrative Office, John Roberts and Robert Conrad are accused of scoffing at the assertion by its Freedom of Information Act request that AFL is entitled to it. They call this an unconstitutional shadow agency and the administrative arm both overseen by chief justice Roberts as rogue executive agencies that have collaborated with far left lawmakers to wage lawfare against conservative supreme court justices. It also reports that lawsuit not only takes aim at the judicial branch branch and, Roberts, but also targets a legislative branch of Democrat senator Sheldon White house and representative Hank Johnson. It accuses them of a concerted effort together with the judicial Conference and the mainstream media to discredit Supreme Court justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh. The FOIA request for correspondence between these two lawmakers and the Judicial Conference is the key element of the lawsuit, and the conference feels itself immune from FOIA. AFL means the conference is bound by FOIA when like it this alleged instance, it exercises executive functions. So this would likely be a case that makes its way to the Supreme Court and it can easily be anticipated that Federal District Court of District Columbia will conclude and that the DC Circuit Court of Appeal will concur that the judicial branch has immunity under foil. But there's one part they haven't figured out yet and, that's how the Supreme Court and Roberts will respond when AFL brings their appeal. And this challenges not only the judicial branch's independence but also Roberts' professional integrity. And if they deny the appeal, this leaves the chief justice, the court and the judicial branch subject to the appearance of impropriety and of having something to cite. This is what we would refer to as bad optics. And if they take up the case, this means Roberts has to recuse himself from it. Hearing the case risks the exposure of some very unfavorable details potentially implicating Roberts, the Judicial Conference and Democrats, White House and Johnson. Any ruling by a reduced court that agrees with lower courts will risk the same unfavorable impressions by the public and unlikely ruling that favors AFL will be no less damaging to the Democrats and judicial branch leadership. But we're gonna start with this simply because, you're not seeing a lot of, what's happening with the Trump administration, a lot of the good stuff. What you're hearing is the bad stuff, like the tariffs are dangerous. Not coming from the self proclaimed intellectuals and the self proclaimed economists. It's almost like a drum solo. I expect it from the left. If you said puppies were cute, everybody would say that but he hates cats. But we're also hearing it from supposed free market libertarians and others on the right who can't see past their arrogance and or their disdain for Trump to figure out what our president is trying to accomplish. It's, you know, it's it's not hard to find footage of a much younger Trump on Oprah in 1988 talking about how we were getting ripped off by other countries. So at least for thirty five years or thirty seven years, excuse me, this has been going on, but it's a surprise is when we elect someone on a campaign promise and they actually do what they said they were gonna do. And, the weak need Republican should take note of this. You know, write it down, put it put it somewhere where you can find it. Now, the other thing that they they they they say they want is a free market, but that means that both sides have to agree to the terms. So how do we attain the free market utopia that they claim to seek? Do we go to China and and just ask them, would you please, pretty please with sugar on top, reduce our tariffs to zero? Well, Trump doesn't do that. Trump drops anvils on them. And despite everything you heard and everything you saw and everything that was coming at you and it was it was gonna be pan delirium, they caved. And they came to the table because they were forced to come to the table, not because they wanted to come to the table. And, you know, I I've been telling everybody out here, you know, we're like their biggest market for their for the stuff they build and, yeah, there are secondary markets out there that buy plenty of it, but it's nothing like us. What's astounding to me is that this guy wrote a book about making deals. And and I guess nobody was, nobody was paying attention to the fact that maybe he actually knew what he was talking about. Now, as of now, the equity markets have surged past their lows following Liberation Day, which was tariff day. The dollar is on the move surging 1% after the announcement with China. New business deals are being struck almost daily. Gas is down. I with, with some coupons, you know, with with the card, I actually bought, gas for $2.25 the other day. Inflation is down. We all knew that once the Inflation is down. We all knew that once the government stopped ordering the mass slaughter of chickens, the egg prices were returned to normal and this is just the hundred are we on day 10 yet? I not sure. Maybe hundred thirteen. So for the naysayers, no one who believes in this president expects a smooth ride. When you're out there and you're trying to smelt gold, there's gonna be some heat. We have generations of horrible policy that has to be dismantled and that's not gonna happen without a few jabs and pains. The entrenched administrative state is not gonna roll over and give up. The leeches and the other parasites aren't going to change their diet. For those of you that are out there, and I mean grassroots in, South Carolina as far as I can tell is alive and well, And they have to continue to pressure their representatives to do the right thing to help this president. I I could say it's not a good time to be a Democrat, but it hasn't been a good time to be a Democrat for a very, very long time. It's never a good time to be a Democrat, but right now, it's especially bad as the absolute lunatics in your party, Democrats, have taken over. You have a former Democrat who's in charge of HHS and you have a former Democrat who's running DOS because the things this is the best of all worlds here, what's going on here. Now the fools in the, in in in the Democratic Party, they're embracing terrorists. And, I mean, this is one of those things you get out there and you say there's just no way. There's just no way. I never considered that to be something they would do. I knew they were sympathetic to them. I mean, go check out what's going on in Dearborn, Michigan. But part of me just assumed that this was a ploy for votes. And maybe back then, they only meant it as a ploy for votes and now they mean it. They want to globalize the Intifada. So this is not and that's not about Jewish people. That's openly calling for murdering non believers. Probably, the young people spray painting that on their bed sheets don't know what those words mean. Democrats have always found hateful uses for bed sheets, haven't they? But that doesn't change the fact that they, goose step through their their marches with people who do. Imagine getting out there and saying to yourself, okay. Well, I'm gonna put this on video and then I would share a suicide bomber as a martyred hero. Well, I know there's a good chance that the radicals in The Middle East will soon be recruiting them to be that just that here in The United States and your complicity laid the groundwork for that recruitment. And the funny part is they don't think it'll happen to them and that's how they live with themselves. So rather than calling out and trying to diffuse the destruction they're unleash unleashing on the world, they're just going on ahead. They're just going on hoping the impact of future blast is gonna miss them. And in in the in part in pursuit of that particular destruction, they need money. So what would you get if you breed senator Tom Tillis, alleged Republican, with senator Mazie Hirano, raging Democrat from somewhere? What would you get if you bred those two? Well, you would actually produce a senatorial moron, a legislator so unbelievably stupid that it needs a constant reminder to breathe. Now while it's very amusing to think about those kind of things out loud and everything else, we, we absolutely need to think about how do we help North Carolina get rid of Tom Tillis. Right? He needs to go. The republicans need to stop messing around with politicians like him. Republicans of North Carolina, you need to primary this jerk. Now just like our own Lindsey Graham, Trump has to be nice and polite, at least for now. But you and I don't. He's a loser. But is he a Machiavellian supervillain? I don't know. Is he Ernest Stavo Blofeld or is he Ernest p Worrell Blowhart? This is how bad it is. It is never a good idea to sit here and say to ourselves, we're going to dump an incumbent Republican. That's never the thing that you should ever wanna do. The preferred thing we would be seeking would be for him to listen to his constituents and do do what his constituents say to him they want him to do. And stop listening to the guys at the country club. It seems like he gets reelected, barely, sometimes, and and he always does. But this is a guy who has, he has delusions of grandeur, but when in fact he has fully embraced mediocrity. A tar heel punk who imagines himself as a statesman. We don't need statesmen. We have a statesman in charge of the executive branch. We need soldiers that will get in there with our commander in chief and get out there and run and get this kind of stuff done. Make America great again. But not Tom Tillis. He thinks his thoughts are important. He thinks that his ideas are significant. He thinks he makes a difference and he has here recently but only in the worst way. And that's a problem that I'm beginning to see as a unique characteristic of the senate. The senators out there, they think they're like in the Roman senate where they walk around with them, you know, you know anyway, they got a bunch of staffers and lobbyists that cater them, butter them up. They smooch their Shumers. And some imagine it's because they are truly great men and women and non binaries instead of just being the one filling a slot, which is all they are. That's all they are. They may get into that slot like a tick, like a tick on a mission. You'll never dislodge me. But they're just filling the slot. They think they're leaders, but they're supposed to be led by you. You're the one that leads them. And the voters expect them to do what the voters want rather than based upon their vastly overrated intellect. Now see if tell us or any of them, any of them, if they get out there and they vote the right way, I don't care how big they think they are. I don't care how serious they try to be. I don't care how many portraits they sit for in their office already surrounding themselves with portraits of themselves as long as they wrote right. But Tillis is a throwback to the two early two thousands GOP which had the fully embraced instinct to fail. He tried to tank peak Hegseth. He was all in with the John Cornyn gun control scheme and now he's actually doing damage. He's doing it in two ways. He's disrespecting the pulled. And now he's got Jeanine Pirro in there. And he says he likes her, but we'll see what he does. Tillis was mad because, Ed refused to abandon the j six political prisoners as Tillis did. He abandoned them as Graham did. He said shoot him in the head, you know. Now all of this for any of these guys would be to their shame if they had the capacity to feel it. If they had the introspection and the the the self awareness that's necessary to be able to look deep in your own soul, not look at everybody else but look at yourself. So an activist group called Students for Life went to the church parking lots on Easter Sunday and put pamphlets out against House Speaker Merle Smith and Weston Newton who had the judiciary. Right. And I think they hit a nerve because they blamed, you know, people politicians, we're not allowed to work with packs and super packs. So he can't direct them to do that, but they blamed him and then they blamed him for not being strong enough in his rebuttal of it. So we've had in the middle of all the busy end of season stuff, just complete chaos, with the family caucus. Supposedly, the speaker of the house was personally calling people because he was so butthurt over this and telling them to leave the family caucus. And when the, your dear leader speaks, when you're in the Republican caucus, you do as he says or he will punish you. Oh. He will he'll take away your parking space. It's it's all it's all so silly, but, you know, the people down there take it very seriously. They wanna climb climb the ladder. They wanna stay in his good graces. So, the manufactured outrage I saw from some of the family caucus people defending the speaker, you just don't go into a church parking lot. That that's off limits. I think guns are evil and I believe the world would be a better place without weapons. But I would hate to regret not having a gun if things get so chaotic that people need to protect themselves. Why cost the nation hundreds of billions of dollars in massive new entitlements? Why swamp the social services of our own poor citizens? Why turn loose a half a million criminal aliens and gang members to prey on the weak and the defenseless? Was it trying to alter demographics? Were they trying to grow the dependent class and expand the government? Was this just spite? Was it to ensure a future constituency given that the democratic agenda appeals to no one that's American? Or was it this globalist gambit to demonstrate that borders are so old fashioned. Maybe fast tracking some new voters under the laxity of the post 2020 early in mail in voting protocol. Those who perpetrated what's gonna turn out to be the greatest ruse in American presidential history because the entire Biden presidency was staged. Staged. They're never gonna tell us what their ultimate agenda was. They fixed the twenty twenty primary to ensure that a almost corpse like Biden would be nominated. And under the cover of the COVID lockdown, they kept him in his basement, and they radically altered the voting laws in the key swing states. And they didn't even really do that. They just got a few secretaries of state to change a few rules. And for the next four years, they put their wax and effigy in a hermetically sealed cocoon, one to avoid the press, three day work weeks, four four hour workdays. They would have a font that if you were right beside it, it would be two stories high. Biden couldn't see it. Not on the teleprompters. They had to be way off. He could not finish a simple call for unity without snarling and screaming and damning his opposition as semi fascist or ultra MAGA or garbage.
